A)  Students from other universities may transfer to Yarmouk university in case there are vacant seats according to the following stipulations and procedures.

1-    Students must meet the admission conditions at Yarmouk University as stipulated in Article 4 of the instructions governing the admission of students to Yarmouk University No.4 -1984.

2-    Students must be transferring from a recognized University, University institute or University college recognized by Yarmouk University.

3-    Students previous study at University/ universities must be on full time attendance and must produce a document to the effect that his/her attendance there not less than 70% of the lectures.

4-    Students should have been admitted to the regular program in their previous universities.

5-    Students Averages in Tawjeehi Certificates must be acceptable in the field of study (major) that he/she Wants to transfer to at Yarmouk University in the year that he got the Tawjeehi in or in the year which he applied for a transfer in, and must have successfully completed 30 credit hours from the University transferring from or its equivalent which go into his GPA and this GPH must not be less than "very good"

B)   Applications Of transfer are to be submitted to the dept of admission and Registration and the committee applications according to the conditions stipulated in Para "Q" above.

C)   Director of admission and registration transmits the accepted applications to proper college Dean to calculate credit hours which students studied at their previous Universities in light of the study plan of the concerned Dept. to which the student will be transferred. All courses which the student passed in his previous University will be Credited provided that these courses must be similar and equivalent to the courses in the study plan of the concerned Dept to which the student will be transferred, No more than 60 credit Hours will be credited.

D)  Grades for the courses which the student had studied at his pervious University will not go into the student's GPA at Yarmouk University.

E)   One semester will be deducted from the maximum graduation Years for the transferred student in lieu at 15 credit Hours that are credited to the student.

Procedures to register to the university in both regular and parallel programs

A- Regular programs for Jordanian students (competition, abroad Jordanian, makromat Jaish, makromat mo'alemeen, makromat mokhaimat)

After announcing the Tawjihi results, the Coordinating Unit for Common Acceptance declares the date of submission for applications through post offices in all over kingdom to buy a card for this purpose and to be used to deliver applications via the website of the Coordinating Unit for Common Acceptance. B- Regular program for non-Jordanian students:

Their acceptance is due to (cultural exchange) through the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education in coordination with their countries or cultural attaché in Jordan.

 

C- Parallel Program for Jordanian and non-Jordanian students:

Submission for applications is announced through local newspapers and on the web site of the university under same conditions, specific results of Tawjihi and vacancies, the admission for this program will be through the university directly and the presence of the student is a must to finish the procedures of admission.
